Attalia Global Help Turkish Citizens Affected by Earthquake
Joblio and key Middle Eastern partner Attalia Global have launched a special program to place those impacted by the devastating quake into vocational jobs at designated employers.
ANTALYA, Turkey — Ethical recruitment platform Joblio Inc. (joblio.co) and Turkish partner Attalia Global announced a new program to help find international employment for Turkish citizens whose lives have been impacted by the disastrous earthquake that wreaked havoc on the country this month.
Turkish workers with a diploma, certification, or with vocational experience as welders, plumbers, electricians, shipyard mechanics, assemblers, truck drivers, or meat cutters are encouraged to register directly at join.joblio.co or attaliaglb.com. Accepted candidates will go through skills testing and interviews, and successful applicants will receive job offers from designated employers in Lithuania and Canada.
Attalia Global, Joblio’s key partner in the region, will assist with applying for work visas through the Lithuanian embassy in Istanbul. Closed work permits will be provided, allowing the workers to be employed only by the companies that issued their job offer.
“The devastation in our country from the earthquake is unspeakable, and we are grateful that partners like Joblio have stepped up to help in meaningful ways,” said Halime Ӧzen Erbas, Founder of Attalia Global. “Being able to find gainful employment for victims of this disaster is a significant first step in getting people and families back on their feet.”
Added Joblio CEO Jon Purizhansky: “Part of being an ethical and transparent recruitment platform means being there to offer assistance in the aftermath of an emergency. Joblio is proud to work with Halime and her team at Attalia Global to help find gainful jobs for people directly affected by this tragedy.”
